ADAC GT Masters

The ADAC GT Masters is this year again for the sixth time in its existence on Circuit Zandvoort. The series is intended for cars in accordance with the internationally applicable GT3 regulations, with a number of impressive cars at the start this year: Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, Corvette C7 GT3-R GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3. These cars compete against the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the new Honda NSX GT3. Starting fields of well over 30 cars are the norm in the series this season. For every race weekend there are two races of one hour each, including compulsory pit stop with driver change. There is a separate qualification for each race, in which the starting places are divided.

ADAC TCR Germany

After the successful performance of the FIA WTCR at Circuit Zandvoort, in mid-May during the Jumbo Race Days, TCR cars will be returning to the Netherlands as part of the ADAC GT Masters Weekend. The TCR concept is now well-known: series-based touring cars with front-wheel drive and two-liter turbo engines, which have a capacity of around 330 hp. With the Honda Civic TCR, the Opel Astra TCR, the Cupra TCR, Audi RS3 LMS, Renault Mégane TCR, Peugeot 308 TCR and the Volkswagen Golf TCR there is a lot of variety in the field. Make sure you have a nice spot  around the circuit to see all the action!

A collection of great and thrilling race series has lined up for the ADAC GT Masters-weekend. Be prepared for some fierce motorsport action from:

  • ADAC GT Masters
  • Clio Cup Central Europe
  • Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland

The line-up is subject to changes.

Clio Cup Central Europe

The Renault Clio Cup hardly needs any introduction as a racing series, because since the early nineties, the compact race car from the Renault family has raced in cup gear. Of course, the tradition of brand racing at Renault goes much further back. The Renault Clio R.S. IV in Cup version is based on the sporty Clio from the series production and is powered by a 220 hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine. During the weekend there are two races on the program. Special attention will be given to the Dutch drivers in the field, including Sebastiaan and Michael Bleekemolen. Can they shine for their own audience?

Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland

Also the fastest single-make cup from Germany will be part of this great weekend: the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. The equivalent Cup Porsches have two races on the program. Zandvoort is a real challenge for the drivers. After all, the braking system of the Porsche racing cars will be tested at the legendary Tarzanbocht, while the power is fully expressed between the Hugenholtzbocht and the Scheivlak.

The races in the Porsche Carrera Cup are known for their fierceness. After all, there is only a limited number of laps in which the victory can be fought. That often means action from start to finish. A series that you should not miss as a motorsport enthusiast!
