▲ In 1970 the Shell Racing Service was a fixture within the motorsport paddock. Also during the Dutch Grand Prix of that year, a team of Shell employees was on standby to help teams with their gasoline and lubricants. Rainer W. Schlegelmilch of Motorsport Images captured in a great way what the Shell Racing Service bivouac looked like that year. In the later years Circuit Zandvoort would get a fixed petrol station at a location on Paddock 1.

▼ As part of the major upgrade of Circuit Zandvoort, Paddock 1 was given a new location at the access road of Circuit Zandvoort. Shell also participated, because they used the renovation period for the realization of a Shell V-Power Only station, opening spring 2020. This makes the fuel station the only one of this special type in Europe.
